Red Centre Bushwalking Trip List 2020-21

This page is out of date. It is still here because this site contains a variety of general information like our newsletters which has not yet been uploaded to our new website.

For up to date information about specific trips, see our new mobile-friendly website.

Update: 19 April 2020

Our special Covid 19 Newsletter explains why none of our trips before October might be running.

Our Availability and Specials page shows the trips we hope to be able to run if the current lockdown is eased.

Special Drought Note. Central Australia is well into a multiyear drought. There has, however, been some rain in March and April the situation isn't as bad as it was at the end of February.

Changed access conditions means that we are not yet certain of some things that we hope to continue to offer in 2020.

Note. To see which trips are already definite departures and which other trips already have bookings, please see our Availability and Specials page.

Prices. We offer advance purchase discounts of up to 20% on all trips. Details of these and our other discounts are in our Discount page.
Please note. Some of our costs, especially charter transport, are subject to change without notice. Where we are forced to raise prices because of this, we will honour the old price for anyone who has already booked and paid a deposit.

Except for the Centralian Highlights, all our Red Centre tours depart from Alice Springs. Our getting here page explains how to get to Alice Springs. Our accommodation and things to do page tells you where you can stay and explains other things you can do in town.

See full abbreviations, levels of difficulty or pass mouse over code to see short descriptions.

Every trip is different. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about a particular trip.

Click on trips listed in red for additional information. Most will require Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Note. Some trip information has not been updated. The trips should remain the same, only the dates have changed.

For information about how to book one of these trips, see our How to Book page. This has links to all the necessary forms.
