Overseas Trip List 2018-19

This page is out of date. It is still here because this site contains a variety of general information like our newsletters which has not yet been uploaded to our new website.

We've been running these trips since 1990. There were no other tours like these on the travel market when we began. 28 years later, we remain the only such tours on the market.

• Flexible itineraries. If something turns out to be especially good, we have the flexibility to spend extra time there. Those who book early get to help choose the exact dates of departure and return.
• You walk. Other transport may include airplanes, buses, taxis, boats, etc.
• Flexible costs. Our fee covers the guide plus pre-trip organisation. You also have to pay your share of the expenses for meals, accommodation, transport, etc. The guide pays the same additional costs you do and will keep these as low as is consistent with safety and comfort.

Note. Details of overseas trips may need to be changed due to changing circumstances in the countries where those trips take place.

2020

• Madagascar: 4 weeks in September
  We need only one more booking to guarantee departure, maximum of only nine plus our guide.

• Japan - Hokkaido: 29 September - 12 October

Other possibilities include the following. Trip notes have not been updated but the basic itinerary remains the same.

• New Caledonia: 2 or 3 weeks in September-October
• Northeast South Africa: Kruger & More: 4 Weeks in October-November
  This is very much a first draft. Those who express an interest early on can help finalise the itinerary.
• Spain: 3-4 weeks: September-October.
