Great Britain
- The Backpackers Club organizes overnight trips in the United Kingdom and abroad.
- The Ramblers Association website provides a varitey of information. They offers a variety of walks most of which do not require carrying a full pack.
- The Long Distance Walkers Association offers a variety of long distance walks.

- The European Ramblers Association is a federation of 26 national organisations. Their website is a good source of information on walking in Europe and gives contact details for their member organisations.
